Transferability of Coursework/CreditsExisting and potential students often ask about our accreditation. What they often mean, however, is whether or not completion units are transferable. There is a difference with an entity that abides by a set of standards: i.e. accreditation, and the question relating to transferability of completed course work. Students from CLSTG Christian Life School of Theology Global affiliated schools (like 49 Mountains University) have successfully transferred completion units to many schools around the country, either by means of an assessment of prior learning or a specific articulation agreement. Every transfer, however, is at the full discretion of the receiving school. They decide if and how completion units will contribute to the goal(s) of their program. It is important to remember that our completion units represent theological training and ministerial preparation. Christian universities often have a required “Bible core” for all majors. Your completion units may transfer into that “core.” If you are thinking of possibly transferring your credit units to a Christian university anytime in the future, we advise you to follow recommended degree plans. The classes were carefully selected to give you much more freedom in transferability.

What are the two main types of accreditation? There are two main types of accreditation 1. Christian/Biblical Accreditation (Non-Government) Options, and 2. Government Accreditation Options. Both are designed to maintain standards of academic integrity among institutions of higher learning. This is an area for prayer and seeking God's wisdom for one's calling. The International Association of Bible Colleges and Seminaries (IABCS) accredits its member institutions by applying accepted practices and standards much like other professional peer review organizations. In academia, peer review is often used to determine an organization’s credibility. In the US the US Department of Education itself accredits certain agencies, regional, national and professional Government Accreditation Options At one time, many of what are considered top secular institutions of study were originally Seminaries & Bible Colleges (Harvard, Yale, Princeton, Oxford, Cambridge, St. Andrews, and University of Edinburgh to name of just a few). So what happened to cause so many schools to abandon their Christian roots? https://answersingenesis.org/christianity/harvard-yale-princeton-oxford-once-christian/ Currently, July 2022, there is still freedom for Bible Colleges/Seminaries. Yet, there is a strong move to restrict the freedom of Bible Colleges/Seminaries denying their government accreditation if they do not submit to proposed human rights policy (proposed yet not adopted) “Ensure Nondiscrimination Policies and Science Based Curricula Are Not Undermined by Religious Exemptions to Accreditation Standards.” https://evolutionnews.org/2021/01/new-proposal-opens-door-to-denying-accreditation-to-religious-colleges-based-on-science/ Christian/Biblical Accreditation Options The accredited courses offered by 49 Mountains University are provided by Christian Life School of Theology Global that is accredited by the International Association of Bible Colleges and Seminaries (IABCS). (from International Association of Bible Colleges and Seminaries) "IABCS is the oldest, longest-running accrediting body in the United States and has served to develop, create, innovate, and validate higher Christian Education all over the globe. Utilizing effective educational strategies, IABCS has become a catalyst for many institutions to grow their student body and add credibility to their curriculum. We promote mutual transferability of academic coursework among all IABCS institutions around the world and offer peer review standards of academic integrity. We provide certification where members adhere to standardized operating requirements in keeping with, and acceptable to, other institutions of higher education. All disciplines offered would maintain an emphasis on biblically-based curricula such as those offered by Bible institutes, colleges and seminaries IABCS accredits its member institutions by applying accepted practices and standards much like other professional peer review organizations. In academia, peer review is often used to determine an organization’s credibility. IABCS was originated to furnish a basis for fellowship and mutual helpfulness among educational institutions of higher operating in the Biblical field. Our aspirations are to make it possible for Christian institutions of higher education to continue their evangelical and denominational integrity and at the same time provide and maintain the highest academic standards. Our purpose is to furnish, recognize, and verify certain standardized requirements in various fields in which the representative institutions operate in keeping with, and acceptable to, other accredited institutions of higher education. In this effort, we assist the institutions in offering Christian education at a postsecondary school level for effective Christian service or ministries administered through a program of Biblical, general and professional studies that affect a person physically, mentally, socially, and spiritually. By improving the quality of this education through carefully described criteria of institutional excellence that will encourage self-examination and stimulate healthy growth, we provide a means of membership and certification of Bible Colleges and Seminaries, similar to that of other national and regional agencies."

Note: Reminder Christian Life School of Theology Global (CLSTG) is not an institution accredited by the US Department of Education. 49 Mountains University Beliefs & Core ValuesOur Beliefs The Bible is the inspired Word of God (2 Timothy 3:16) the written record of His supernatural revelation of Himself to mankind, absolute in it’s authority, complete in its revelation, final in its content, and without any errors in its teachings. All men in their natural state are lost, alienated from God, spiritually dead: “All have sinned, all fall short of the glory of God” (Romans 3:23). Salvation is only by grace, a free gift of God through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, who died for our sins according to the Scriptures (1 Corinthians 15:3). Those who thus receive Christ by faith have their sins forgiven (Ephesians 1:7), their hearts cleansed (Acts 15:9), are born of the Spirit, become children of God (John 1:12, 13), and are made new creatures in Christ (2 Corinthians 5:17). God is One God, Who reveals Himself in three Persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Jesus Christ, as the Scriptures affirm, is the Son of God and Son of Man, was born of a virgin, and is Himself very God. The Scriptures also declare the deity and personality of the Holy Spirit. Our Lord Jesus Christ rose from the dead in the same body that was laid to rest in the tomb (John 20:25-27). The bodies of all believers who die will be raised from the dead, and they will receive an incorruptible body like unto the glorious body the Lord Jesus Christ (1 Corinthians 15:53; Philippians 3:21). All other men shall be raised unto “the resurrection of judgment” (John 5:28, 29). Christians, born of the Spirit, are to live the new life in the present power of the Spirit, “If we live by the Spirit, by the Spirit let us also walk” (Galatians 5:16-25; Colossians 2:6). The Christian’s responsibility, and his normal attitude of life, is to yield himself to God (Romans 6:13), trusting God to keep him. Christian “living” includes Christian service, the winning of souls around us, and the preaching of the Gospel in the uttermost parts of the earth. In the carrying on this work there is needed the supernatural power of the Holy Spirit, which is granted to every believer as he yields and trusts (Acts 1:8; 1 Corinthians 12:7; Ephesians 3:20; Acts 5:32). And in all this service, prayer is to have the central place ( John 14:12-14; Ephesians 6:18, 19). Jesus Christ will come again to earth the second time (Hebrews 9:28), personally (Acts 1:11; 1 Thessalonians 4:16), bodily (Acts 1:11; Colossians 2:9), and visibly (Matthew 26:64; Revelation 1:7). Our Core Values The Authority Of Scripture “All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, 17 that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work.” 2 Timothy 3:16-17 Yielded To Christ’s Life Within “I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.” Galatians 2:20 "I am the vine; you are the branches. Whoever abides in me and I in him, he it is that bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing." John 15:5 “If we live by the Spirit, let us also keep in step with the Spirit.” Galatians 5:25 Each Believer Seeking their Role in Making a Kingdom Impact “And he gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the shepherds and teachers, 12 to equip the saints for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ, 13 until we all attain to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to mature manhood, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ, 14 so that we may no longer be children, tossed to and fro by the waves and carried about by every wind of doctrine, by human cunning, by craftiness in deceitful schemes. 15 Rather, speaking the truth in love, we are to grow up in every way into him who is the head, into Christ, 16 from whom the whole body, joined and held together by every joint with which it is equipped, when each part is working properly, makes the body grow so that it builds itself up in love." Ephesians 4:11-16 The Priority Of Teaching All Nations “and in your offspring shall all the nations of the earth be blessed, because you have obeyed my voice.” Genesis 22:18 “And Jesus came and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19 Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.” Matthew 28:18-20 The Persistence Of Our Prayers “I tell you, though he will not get up and give him anything because he is his friend, yet because of his impudence he will rise and give him whatever he needs. 9 And I tell you, ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.” Luke 11:8-9 The Practice of Mutual Accountability “Iron sharpens iron, and one man sharpens another.” Proverbs 27:17 The Importance Of Wise Planning “If the iron is blunt, and one does not sharpen the edge, he must use more strength, but wisdom helps one to succeed.” Ecclesiastes 10:10 “Commit your work to the LORD, and your plans will be established.” Proverbs 16:3
